Evaluation & reliability
Keep alternative explanations visible rather than grading a claim against an unstated assumption.
A SMALL REASONING INSTRUMENT
Choose a claim. Change its premises. Inspect the alternatives that still fit.
All three examples are synthetic.
A result is about the declared model;
it does not authenticate the evidence.

READ THE BOUNDARY
Keep the Gaps enumerates finite, explicitly declared possibilities. A claim follows only when every remaining assignment satisfies it. If supporting and opposing assignments remain, the claim stays unresolved. If none remain, the premises are inconsistent.
It does not verify sources, validate a natural-language encoding, discover every omitted variable, estimate probability, measure causal effects, enforce permission, or certify safety. “Observation” is a supplied label, not independent verification. Counts are assignments, not confidence scores.
The browser uses complete checker reports for every combination of the included premises. It supports these three ledgers; it is not a general-purpose truth detector.

Keep a permission claim scoped to what the approval actually authorizes.
Explore why authorization alone does not specify intended outcomes. These are distinct questions, not interchangeable categories.
